Air Algerie Unaccompanied Minors Policy
Air Algérie provides special assistance for unaccompanied minors (UMs), ensuring their safe and comfortable journey.

Children aged 5 to 12 years traveling alone are eligible for the
unaccompanied minors service, which is mandatory within this age range. The
airline provides assistance from check-in through arrival, including care during
connections and at layovers. For children aged 12 to 15 years, the unaccompanied
minor service is optional, available upon request by parents or guardians.
Parents or guardians are required to complete specific paperwork at check-in and
must remain at the airport until the child’s flight has departed. The child is
escorted by Air Algérie staff throughout the journey, including assistance with
boarding, in-flight support, and guidance during arrival, where a designated
representative must meet them.
Additional fees may apply for this service, and arrangements should be made in
advance with Air Algérie to ensure availability and compliance with requirements
for unaccompanied minors.
