Alliance Airlines Children Flying Alone Policy

An unaccompanied minor is a child aged between 5 and 11 years of age (inclusive), travelling without the supervision of a person 15 years of age or over.

The parent or guardian must ensure that:

• A separate Unaccompanied Minor Form is completed correctly and in full by the sender, for each child travelling even if they are from the same family;

• The sender accompanies the Unaccompanied Minor at check in and at the airport until the aircraft on which the child is travelling has departed;

• The receiver will be at the destination airport to meet the child on arrival of the aircraft and will present suitable photographic identification;

Children under the age of 5 years can only travel if accompanied by an adult aged 15 years or older. Young adults 12 to 14 years of age (inclusive), may travel with Unaccompanied Minor status if requested by their parent or guardian.

Young children traveling without a parent or legal guardian are considered to be Unaccompanied Minors. If you are allowing your child to fly alone as an unaccompanied minor, be sure to take every necessary precaution to ensure his or her safety.

Reservations for unaccompanied minors must be made by contacting the Alliance Airlines Reservations Team on 1300 780 970 or email to flights@allianceairlines.com.au.

These policies may differ, however, so you should check with Alliance Airlines for a description of its rules and services and any additional charges that may apply.

For further information on Children Flying Alone Policy, please contact Alliance Airlines directly at 1 300 780 970 (local) or your local air ticketing agent.
