LATAM Brasil Unaccompanied Minors Policy
LATAM Brasil offers a service for unaccompanied minors (UMs) to ensure the safety and comfort of children traveling alone.

The policy includes the following details:
Eligibility
Age Range: The service is available for children aged 5 to 11 years. Children
aged 12 to 17 can also use the service upon request, though it is not mandatory.
Younger Children: Children under 5 years old are not permitted to travel alone
and must be accompanied by an adult.
Booking the Service
Reservation: The unaccompanied minor service must be requested at the time of
booking or added later by contacting LATAM's customer service. Additional fees
apply.
Required Information: The parent or guardian must provide details about the
person dropping off the child and the person picking up the child at the
destination.
At the Airport
Check-in: The child must be checked in at the airport by a parent or guardian,
who must remain at the airport until the flight departs.
Supervision: LATAM staff will supervise the child throughout the journey,
including during connections and while boarding and disembarking.
In-Flight
Seating: Unaccompanied minors are typically seated at the front of the aircraft
to allow for closer supervision by the cabin crew.
Assistance: The crew will provide special attention to the child during the
flight, including assistance with meals and any other needs.
Arrival
Pick-Up: The person designated to pick up the child must present valid
identification and meet any other requirements set by LATAM at the destination
airport.
These policies may differ, however, so you should check with LATAM Brasil for a description of its rules and services and any additional
charges that may apply.
