Air Inuit Unaccompanied Minors Policy
For Unaccompanied minors (UM), Air Inuit staff will provide assistance at the airport, on board and at connecting stations, if necessary, to ensure your child’s safety and comfort throughout the trip.
Children 5-11 years of age traveling alone must be registered as
unaccompanied minors. The transport of unaccompanied minors must be declared
upon making reservations and entails a supervision fee of $52.50 - $57.49 (taxes
included).
Unaccompanied minors are attended to and from check-in until they reach the
person awaiting them at their destination. A special (UM) handling tag must be
completed at the time of check-in, and be carried by the child at all times
while in Air Inuit care.

If you are allowing your child to fly alone as an
unaccompanied minor, be sure to take every necessary precaution to ensure his or
her safety.
