Air Transat Check-in Information
Passengers traveling with Air Transat can Check-in conveniently with the check-in options provided as below:
Online Check-in
Online check-in is offered between 24 and 2 hours prior to departure for
passengers who have a booking or confirmation number departing on a flight
operated by Air Transat (Flight numbers with a "TS" designator, ex.: TS123). At
the airport you will be required to drop off your baggage at the Air Transat
Check-in Counter or Self-Service Bag Drop.
Online check-in not available to passengers:
- Under the age of 18, and travelling alone from Rome, Venice and Lamezia, Italy
- Requiring special care (ex. unaccompanied minors)
If you cannot access your online check-in, you can check in at the airport.
Air Transat passengers who check in online for their flights have the option to
receive their boarding passes electronically on their mobile devices. This
option is offered for most flights departing from the following cities:
Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver, Quebec City, Calgary, Edmonton, Victoria, Ottawa,
London, Hamilton, Windsor, Winnipeg, Kelowna, Fort Lauderdale, Orlando, London
(Gatwick), Manchester, Paris and Malaga.
Airport Self Service Kiosk Check-in
The Airport Self Service Kiosk open 8 hours and close 75 minutes prior to the
scheduled time of departure.
At the Kiosk, you can:
• Print your boarding pass or have it sent to your mobile device.
• Tag any checked bags then proceed to Baggage Drop-off.
Airport Counter Check-in
Passengers traveling with Air Transat can check-in at Air Transat check-in
counter. The Air Transat airport counter and baggage drop-off open 4 hours and
close 60 minutes prior to the scheduled time of departure for international
flights and will close 45 minutes prior to the scheduled time of departure for
domestic flight.
Boarding Pass and Boarding Gates
Passenger must have their boarding passes (printed or electronic version),
baggage tags and baggage dropped off before check-in counter closure. Passengers
arriving for check-in after that time may be denied boarding.
Boarding Gate closure times:
• 30 minutes before departure for International flight
• 15 minutes before departure for domestic flight
It is imperative that you arrive for check-in at least 3 hours prior to your
flight.
