Passengers traveling with Lynx Air are welcome to bring:

Baggage Allowance

Carry-on Baggage Fees

You can bring 1 personal item onboard for free, which must be stored under the seat in front of you. Additional carry-on bags are permitted for a fee.

• Personal item maximum size: 15cm x 33cm x 43cm (6” x 13” x 17”)

• Additional carry-on maximum size: 23cm x 40cm x 55cm (9” x 15.75” x 21.5”)

• Additional carry-on maximum weight: 10kg or 22lbs

Checked Baggage Fees

Checked baggage maximum size: Combined length, width and height of bag must be less than 158cm (62”)

Checked baggage maximum weight: 23kg (50lbs)

Musical instruments

The checked baggage fee applies to musical instruments where the combined length, width and height of the instrument (including the case) is less than 203cm (80”).

Overweight Fee

A fee of $99 is charged at the airport for any checked bags that weigh more than 23kg (50lbs).

The maximum weight of any checked bag is 45kg (100lbs).

Oversized Fee

A fee of $99 is charged at the airport for any checked bags that have combined dimensions (length + width + height) larger than 158cm (62”).

The maximum dimensions of any checked bag is a total of 208cm (82”).

Important Reminder

Lynx Air do not allow the following items in your checked bag as they (generally) contain lithium-ion batteries, which are considered dangerous goods: laptops, tablets, and e-readers.

Due to the nature of air travel, do not pack the following items for transportation in your checked bag:

• Fragile or perishable items, money, jewelry, precious metals, silverware, negotiable papers, securities or other valuables, business documents, samples, passports, or other identification documents

Always bring your medication in your carry-on item, as your checked baggage is not accessible in the event of a delay.
