Harbour Air Seaplanes Unaccompanied Minors Policy
Harbour Air offers an Unaccompanied Minor program for children between the ages of 5 and 11 travelling alone.
Harbour Air recommend arriving early for check-in to allow extra time to fill
out the required documentation. During check-in process, Harbour Air will
require the full names, addresses, and contact numbers of the guardians dropping
off and picking up the child. The guardian dropping off the child will also need
to show a piece of government-issued photo ID. The child will be provided an
identification badge to wear.
The parent or guardian must remain with the child until the boarding
announcement is made. When it’s time to board the flight, the pilot will escort
the child to the aircraft and help them get seated.
Once the flight lands at the arrival location, the pilot will escort the UM to
the terminal. From there, one of Harbour Air Customer Service Agents will assist
the parent, or guardian picking up the child, in completing the required form.
The parent or guardian must present a valid government-issued photo ID before
the child will be released into their care.
Please make UM bookings in advance by calling Harbour Air Reservations Centre at
1.800.665.0212. To qualify for Harbour Air UM program, the child must be between
the ages of 5 and 11. The fare for an UM is the same as the adult fare. When
making the booking, be prepared to provide the child’s date of birth, gender,
and full name.
Please note, Harbour Air are able to accommodate a maximum of two UM bookings
per flight so advance bookings are recommended.
