Pacific Coastal Airlines Baggage Allowance
Passengers traveling with Pacific Coastal Airlines are welcome to bring:
Carry-on/Valet Baggage Allowance
Pacific Coastal Airline’s carry-on/valet baggage allowance is limited to two
pieces: one (1) Standard Article (such as a carry-on bag/roller) and one (1)
personal item (such as larger purse, laptop bag, diaper bag).
Max Dimensions and Weights:
1 Standard Article: 9" x 15.5" x 21.5" (23cm x 40cm x 55cm) with maximum weight
of 22lbs (10 kg)
1 Personal Article: 6" x 13" x 17" (16cm x 33cm x 43cm) with maximum weight of
22lbs (10 kg)
Please ensure your carry-on bags are within the maximum size allowance as
indicated above. They are required to fit in the sizing devices located at
check-in and boarding gates. Items exceeding the free carry-on allowance will be
checked at the gate and customers will be charged applicable baggage fees. The
bags will be tagged for delivery to baggage claim area at the passenger’s
destination.
Checked Baggage
A checked bag is one item, weighing up to a maximum of 50 pounds (23 kilograms)
with maximum linear dimension of 62 inches (158 cm). Linear dimension is
calculated by adding together the bags outside height, width and length. All
wheels and handles should be included when measuring.
Oversized or Overweight Checked Baggage
Pacific Coastal Airlines does not accept single checked bags exceeding 70lbs
(except for large checked pets). An overweight item is a single piece of checked
baggage between 50lbs and 70lbs. In addition, an oversized item will be any
single piece exceeding 62” linear dimensions. If an item weighs more than 50lbs
and/or exceeds 62” linear inches the item will be deemed to be oversized/
overweight. See chart, above, for rates.
Guaranteed Baggage
To avoid the possibility your baggage follows you on a subsequent flight,
guaranteed baggage space is available for purchase through our reservation
department or your local travel agency. Guaranteed baggage space will confirm up
to 200lbs or 91kgs of baggage, with no restriction on the number of pieces.
Although guaranteed baggage allows you to check-in up to 200lbs, please note,
Pacific Coastal Airlines does not accept single checked bags exceeding 70lbs.

Timing
If you are traveling with checked baggage Pacific Coastal Airlines advised that
you drop off your checked baggage 60 minutes prior to your scheduled departure
time with one of Pacific Coastal Airlines agents at the check-in counters.
Pacific Coastal Airlines are unable to accept checked baggage that is dropped
off 40 minutes or less prior to your scheduled departure time.
