Porter Airlines Baggage Allowance
Passengers traveling with Porter Airlines are welcome to bring:
Carry-on Baggage
Your fare determines what you can bring onboard with you. For example, if you
are travelling on a Basic fare you are only permitted one personal item, with
all other articles to be checked.
Different fares will allow you more carry-on options.
• Basic fare : Personal item only.
• Standard, Flexible and Freedom fares: Personal item and Standard article.
All passengers are permitted one personal item on board with the weighs no more
than 9 kg (20 lbs) and the dimensions should not more than 43 x 16 x 33 cm (17 x
6 x 13 in).
If you are travelling on a Basic fare, a standard carry-on bag is not included.
Standard, Flexible and Freedom fares will entitled to carry personal item and
standard article on board with the weighs no more than 9 kg (20 lbs) and the
dimensions should not more than 40 x 23 x 55 cm (16 x 9 x 22 in).
All carry-on baggage must fit in the sizing units located both at check-in and
the gate areas.
Onboard the aircraft, all carry-on baggage must be stowed under the seat or in
the overhead compartments. Porter may require that an item of carry-on baggage
travel as checked luggage if the bag cannot be safely stowed in the cabin.
If your carry-on is overweight or oversized, it will be checked at the gate for
a fee.
Checked Baggage
For checked baggage allowances:
Size allowance:
• Up to 158 cm (62 in) per bag Up to 158 centimeters or 62 inches
Total size is measured by the length + width + height of your baggage.
Weight allowance:
• Up to 23 kg (50 lb) per bag Up to 23 kilograms (50 pounds) per bag
No single piece can weigh more than 32 kg (70 lb).
Overweight or Oversized Baggage
You may be able to check in a larger bag by paying an oversize or overweight fee
at the airport. There must be space on the aircraft and your bag must be within
size and weight limits. Please arrive at the airport at least 30 minutes prior
to your recommended check-in time.
Payment
Fees processed online or through the Call Centre will be charged in booking
currency. Fees processed at the airport will be charged in local currency.
Porter only accepts debit or credit payments at check-in and the gate. Porter
are now cash free.
