Vancouver Island Air Unaccompanied Minors Policy

Young children traveling without a parent or legal guardian are considered to be Unaccompanied Minors. If you are allowing your child to fly alone as an unaccompanied minor, be sure to take every necessary precaution to ensure his or her safety.

Children between the ages of eight (8) and eleven (11) years inclusive will be carried as unaccompanied minors providing that the child is brought to airport by his / her parent or responsible adult with the written information showing the name and address of responsible adult meeting the child at destination airport and the agent will verified information prior to releasing the custody of the unaccompanied child to the responsible adult at the destination airport.

Children under the age of 8 years will not allowed to boarding unaccompanied.
