Danish Air Transport Unaccompanied Minors Policy

Danish Air Transport (DAT) provides an Unaccompanied Minor (UM) service for children who are traveling alone.

Here is the information regarding DAT's Unaccompanied Minors Policy:

Age requirements:

The UM service is mandatory for children between the ages of 5 and 11 who are traveling alone.
Children between the ages of 12 and 17 may travel alone, but the UM service is available upon request.

Booking:

The UM service must be booked in advance by contacting DAT directly.
A completed UM form and a copy of the child's passport or national ID card must be provided.

Fees:

There is a fee for the UM service, and the cost may vary depending on the route and destination.
The fee must be paid in advance.

Service provided:

A designated DAT staff member will accompany the child through the airport and assist with check-in and security procedures.

The staff member will also accompany the child during the flight and hand over the child to the designated person at the destination airport.
It's important to note that the UM service is subject to availability, and certain restrictions and requirements may apply.

If you have any questions or concerns about the UM service, it's recommended to contact DAT directly at Tel: +45 76 92 30 40 (Danish / English / Finnish) or email to kundeservice@dat.dk for further assistance
