Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) provides a Lost & Found service to help passengers
recover misplaced items during their journey.
Whether an item is lost on board, at the airport, or in checked baggage, SAS
offers various ways to report and track lost belongings.
Lost Items Onboard
If you leave an item on an SAS flight, contact the Lost & Found office at your
arrival airport.
Found items are usually handed over to the airport’s Lost & Found department, as
SAS does not store them directly.
Lost Items at the Airport
Items misplaced at check-in, security, or within airport terminals should be
reported to the respective airport’s Lost & Found department.
Each airport has its own procedure for handling lost property.
Lost or Delayed Baggage
If your checked baggage is missing, visit the SAS Baggage Service Office at the
airport and file a Property Irregularity Report (PIR).
Track your baggage using the WorldTracer system.
If baggage is not found within 21 days, passengers may be eligible for
compensation under SAS’s baggage policy.
How to Report & Claim Lost Items
Online: Some airports allow online Lost & Found reporting.
Customer Service: Contact SAS or the relevant airport’s Lost & Found office.
Collection: If found, passengers must present identification and proof of
ownership to retrieve their items.
It’s recommended to act quickly and contact the airline or airport Lost & Found
as soon as possible to increase the likelihood of recovering your belongings.
