EgyptAir provides a dedicated Lost & Found service to assist passengers in
recovering lost belongings at airports or onboard its flights.
If you have misplaced an item, you should report it as soon as possible to
increase the chances of retrieval.
Reporting a Lost Item
If you lost an item at the airport, contact the Lost & Found office at the
respective airport’s baggage claim area.
If you left an item onboard a flight, report it immediately to EgyptAir staff at
your arrival airport.
You can also submit a Lost & Found inquiry via EgyptAir’s official website or
customer service hotline.
Required Information
To assist in locating your lost item, provide the following details:
✔️ Flight number, date, and route.
✔️ Seat number (if applicable).
✔️ Description of the lost item (color, brand, distinguishing features).
✔️ Contact details for follow-up communication.
Tracking and Claiming Lost Items
If your lost item is found, EgyptAir will arrange for collection or delivery,
depending on the airport's policies.
Found items are usually kept for a specific period before being disposed of or
donated if unclaimed.
For lost baggage, passengers can track their claim using the WorldTracer system
available on the airline's website.
It’s recommended to act quickly and contact the airline or airport Lost & Found
as soon as possible to increase the likelihood of recovering your belongings.
