Nile Air Lost & Found

Nile Air provides assistance for passengers who lose personal belongings during their journey. Lost property cases are handled according to the location where the item was misplaced, including aircraft cabins, airport terminals, and baggage handling areas.

Items Left on Board the Aircraft

Items discovered inside Nile Air aircraft after arrival are collected by cabin crew or ground handling personnel. The recovered belongings are recorded and transferred to the airport’s lost property office or the airline’s local representative for safekeeping.

Passengers who realize that an item has been left onboard should provide the flight number, travel date, seat number, and detailed description of the missing property when contacting Nile Air.

Items Lost at Airport Facilities

Personal belongings misplaced inside airport terminals, including check-in counters, security areas, immigration zones, lounges, and boarding areas, are managed by the relevant airport authority’s Lost and Found department.

Passengers should contact the airport where the item was lost and provide identification details, travel information, and a description of the missing item.

Baggage-Related Lost Property

Passengers arriving on Nile Air flights with delayed, damaged, or missing checked baggage must immediately report the issue at the baggage service counter before leaving the arrival hall.

A Property Irregularity Report (PIR) is created to document the case. Passengers receive a reference number that allows baggage tracing and follow-up communication.

Reporting a Lost Item

A complete lost item report should include:

• Passenger name and contact details
• Flight number and travel date
• Boarding point and arrival airport
• Baggage tag number if applicable
• Detailed description of the missing item

Recovery and Collection

Recovered items are retained according to airport and airline procedures. Passengers collecting found belongings must provide valid identification and confirm ownership of the property.

Collection arrangements depend on the location of recovery. Some airports may provide delivery services, while others require passengers to collect items personally.
