Air Corsica Unaccompanied Minors Policy
Young children traveling without a parent or legal guardian are considered to be Unaccompanied Minors. If you are allowing your child to fly alone as an unaccompanied minor, be sure to take every necessary precaution to ensure his or her safety.
Air Corsica Unaccompanied Minors Policy
Age Requirements
- Children aged 4 to 11 years can travel as unaccompanied minors (UM).
- Children under 4 years old must be accompanied by an adult.
- Children aged 12 to 17 years can travel alone but can also opt for UM service
upon request.
Booking
- UM service must be booked in advance through Air Corsica’s customer service.
- Provide detailed contact information for the persons dropping off and picking
up the minor.
Documentation
- Unaccompanied minors must carry valid identification (passport or ID card).
- A completed UM handling form, available from Air Corsica, must be submitted.
- Any necessary travel authorizations or visas must be included.
Check-in and Airport Procedures
- Arrive at the airport at least 2 hours before departure.
- The accompanying adult must remain at the airport until the flight has
departed.
- The minor will be escorted by airline staff through security and boarding.
In-flight
- The UM will be seated near the cabin crew for supervision and assistance.
- Crew members provide care and support throughout the flight.
Arrival and Pickup
- The designated person must present valid ID and sign a release form to pick up
the minor.
- Airline staff will escort the UM to the designated pickup person at the
arrival airport.
Fees
- An additional fee is charged for the UM service; exact costs should be
confirmed during booking.
Special Considerations
- Inform the airline of any special requirements or medical conditions at the
time of booking.
- Ensure the minor carries any necessary medications or medical instructions.
