Air France » Children Flying Alone Policy
Young children traveling without a parent or legal guardian are considered to be
Unaccompanied Minors. Like most airlines, Air France provide a service to assist
these children from their point of departure to their final destination.

The service is mandatory for children ages 4-11 traveling without an adult
who is at least 18 years old.
Children under 4 years of age are not allowed to travel unless accompanied by an
adult who is at least 18 years old (family member, guardian, or other appointed
person).
On flights within metropolitan France, teenagers aged between 12 to 17 years
traveling alone may be accompanied upon request. They will also benefit from the
Kids Solo service.
This service is optional and a fee applies: €40 per journey.
All airlines reserve the right to request documented proof of age of any child.
Contact Air France call center for information regarding fees.
For further information on Unaccompanied Minors, please contact Air France Call Center

ticketing agent.
