Passengers travelling with Aircalin receive baggage allowances based on cabin
class, fare conditions, and the route included in the ticket.
Carry-on Baggage
Aircalin allows passengers to bring cabin baggage onboard according to the
following limits:
• Economy Class: 1 cabin bag up to 7 kg
• Hibiscus Business Class: 2 cabin bags with a combined maximum weight of 14 kg
Each cabin bag must not exceed dimensions of 55 cm x 35 cm x 25 cm, including
wheels, handles, and external parts.
Passengers may also carry one small personal item such as a handbag, briefcase,
camera bag, or laptop case. The personal item must fit beneath the seat in front
of the passenger.
Cabin baggage exceeding the permitted weight, quantity, or size must be checked
into the aircraft hold. Additional charges may apply if the baggage allowance
included in the ticket has been exceeded.
Checked Baggage Allowance
Aircalin applies a piece-based checked baggage allowance system for
international flights:
• Economy Class: 1 piece up to 23 kg
• Hibiscus Business Class: 2 pieces, each up to 32 kg
Each checked bag must remain within the maximum linear dimension limit of 158 cm
(length + width + height).
Individual baggage items exceeding 32 kg are not accepted as standard checked
baggage and must be transported under special handling arrangements.
Extra Baggage
Passengers requiring additional baggage may purchase extra allowance through
Aircalin reservation offices, travel agents, or online booking services where
available.
Additional baggage fees depend on route, additional piece quantity, and excess
weight. Purchasing extra baggage before arriving at the airport may provide
different pricing compared with airport payment.
Special baggage including sporting equipment, diving equipment, bicycles, and
musical instruments must comply with Aircalin’s transportation requirements.
Advance notification may be required for oversized or specialised items.
Passengers should confirm the baggage allowance shown on their ticket before
departure because permitted quantities may differ according to fare type and
destination.
