Aircalin provides assistance for children travelling without an accompanying
adult through its Unaccompanied Minor service. The service supports young
passengers during airport procedures, boarding, flight travel, and arrival
formalities.
Eligibility
The service requirements depend on the child’s age, route, and travel
arrangements.
Children travelling alone may require mandatory assistance based on Aircalin’s
age policy. Parents or guardians must confirm eligibility before purchasing the
ticket.
Booking Procedure
Unaccompanied Minor requests must be arranged before departure. Aircalin
requires details including:
• Child’s personal information
• Parent or guardian contact details
• Person responsible for receiving the child at destination
Airport Procedures
Parents or guardians must accompany the child to the airport and remain until
airline staff complete check-in and acceptance procedures.
Aircalin staff assist with:
• Document verification
• Boarding procedures
• Escort arrangements
• Transfer assistance where applicable
During the Flight
Cabin crew monitor unaccompanied minors throughout the journey and provide
assistance when required. Children receive guidance regarding onboard procedures
and arrival arrangements.
Arrival Procedures
Upon arrival, Aircalin representatives supervise the handover process until the
authorised receiving adult arrives.
The receiving person must present valid identification before the child is
released.
Required Documents
Parents or guardians must provide passports, travel documents, and any required
authorisation forms before departure.
Service Fees
Unaccompanied Minor service fees may apply depending on route and travel
requirements. Advance arrangements are required because acceptance depends on
operational availability and aircraft capacity.
