SpiceJet Check-in Information
Passengers traveling with SpiceJet can Check-in conveniently with the check-in options provided as below:
Web Check-in
You can check-in through SpiceJet website www.spicejet.com and make selection of
your seat on- line and print boarding pass at the convenience of your office or
residence. If you have baggage to deposit, you are requested to report
sufficiently in advance before check-in closure at airports.
Currently you can only web check-in, 9 passengers at a time and you can perform
web check-in in all flights except originating from Jammu and Srinagar and LEH.
Passengers travelling with infant are also unable to used web check-in.
Kiosk Check-in
Self Service check-in Kiosks are available at some airports to enable you to
check-in yourself and obtain boarding pass from the Kiosk machine. This facility
is presently available for purely domestic flights. If you have baggage to
deposit, please contact SpiceJet check-in agent before check-in closure at
airport.
Airport Counter Check-in
Airport check-in counters will open two hours prior to the scheduled departure
time. Passengers are encouraged to report at the Airport between 1-2 hours prior
to the scheduled departure time. Check-in counters for all SpiceJet flights will
close 45 minutes prior to departure for economy passengers and 40 mins prior to
departure for Business class passengers.
SpiceJet will not be able to accept any passenger reporting after the counters
are closed. Any passenger reporting after the stipulated counter closing time
will be treated as a "no-show" and will not be entitled to any refund against
their one-way fare paid.
SpiceJet offers assigned seating at the airport check-in counters. For
preferential seating, SpiceJet offers advanced seat assignment at the time of
booking or after booking by paying an additional fee. In additional, passenger
can also select seats at the time of web check-in with or without any charge. In
case of exigencies, SpiceJet reserves the right to change an assigned seat
without any prior notice. In such a case, the seat fee will be refunded.
