SpiceJet Children Flying Alone Policy

Children above the age of five (5) and below the age of twelve (12) years are considered as minors. Children between the age of 2 and 5 years must be accompanied by a companion aged 18 years or above.


SpiceJet may, at its sole discretion, accept unaccompanied minors - children above 5 and below 12 years of age, upon payment of an additional fee.

Cases:

• If a child (5 yrs to 12 yrs) is accompanied by YP above 15 years of age, there are no charges.

• If a child (5 yrs to 12 yrs) is accompanied by a YP less than 15 years of age, UNMR for that child passenger is charged, there are no charges for YP.

Unaccompanied Minor passenger should report 2 hours prior to the scheduled departure time. A staff member will assist the child till the time of boarding, post which SpiceJet cabin crew will look after the child.

You cannot do web check-in if you are travelling as an Unaccompanied Minor. You need to report at the Airport check-in counter for obtaining your boarding passes.

Parent or guardian should stay at the Airport until the flight departs.
