Vistara Check-in Information
Passengers traveling with Vistara can Check-in conveniently with the check-in options provided as below:
Web Check-in
Web check-in is available 48 hours prior to scheduled departure time and closes
60 minutes prior to scheduled departure time for domestic flights.
Web check-in is available 96 hours prior and closes 120 minutes prior to
scheduled departure time for international flights.
Mobile Check-in
Mobile check-in is available 48 hours prior and closes 1 hour prior to scheduled
departure time for domestic flights. Mobile check-in opens 48 hours prior and
closes 120 minutes prior to scheduled departure time for international flights.
Mobile check-in is not available:
• For unaccompanied minors (UMNR).
• If you have special service requests such as stretcher or extra seats.
• For customers with a visual or hearing impairment.
• For staff travel, industry discount tickets, upgrade vouchers and agent
discount tickets.
• For international credit card bookings where card verification is required
before boarding the flight.
• For groups of more than 9 people on the same booking.
Kiosk Check-In
Vistara ensures your airport check-in is simpler and quicker with Self Check-in
Kiosks, available at select airports. You can now conveniently self-check-in at
the kiosk, collect your own boarding pass and continue to security.
• Customers holding a confirmed and valid e-ticket can check-in at the kiosks
• Kiosk check-in is available from 24 hrs till 45 minutes prior to scheduled
departure for domestic flights.
• Kiosk check-in is available from 24 hrs till 60 minutes prior to flight
departure for domestic flights originating from Delhi and Mumbai. The service
closes 45 minutes prior to scheduled departure for domestic flights from all
other airports.
Return Check-In
Vistara ease your travel a step further with the return check-in option. If your
return flight is within 48 hours of your originating flight, you may opt for
return check-in. With this facility, you can collect your boarding pass for both
flights at the time of your initial check-in. Without having to go through the
check-in process again, you will simply be able to go straight through to your
return flight.
Applicable for both domestic and international flights.
Airport Counters Check-in
Check-in counters open 2.5 hours and close 60 minutes prior to scheduled
departure for domestic flights originating from Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru,
Hyderabad, Kolkata and Chennai airport. The counter closes 45 minutes prior to
scheduled departure for domestic flights from all other airports.
Check-in counters open 3 hours prior and close 1 hour prior to scheduled
departure for international flights.
Metro Check-In
Customers travelling within India on Vistara flights can check-in at the New
Delhi metro station and simply breeze through the long queues at the airport.
Please note the following points you need to keep in mind:
• Check-in counters will be functional from 0600-2000 hours.
• Metro check-in facility is available between 12 hrs and 2 hrs prior to flight
departure.
• One dedicated check in counter will be available at the New Delhi metro
station.
• All baggage screening will be processed by CISF and strapped by DMRC.
• Oversize and fragile baggage will be not be accepted at the metro check in
station.
• Customers can enter the airport only 6 hours prior to departure.
• Customers can collect their boarding pass and check-in their baggage at the
metro station.
• The journey from New Delhi metro station to the Airport station will take
approximately 19 minutes, as suggested by DMRC.
• The airport departure level is approximately a 10 minute walk from the airport
metro station.
• Payments cannot be collected at the metro station.
Boarding Gate Timing
The boarding gate will be closed 20 minutes prior to the departure. The
passengers are required to be present at the boarding gate not later than the
time specified by Vistara when they check in, failing which they will be
considered as “Gate No Show”.
