Zoom Air Baggage Allowance
Zoom Air allows the following Cabin/Hand baggage dimensions on all routes:
Hand Baggage
Passengers may carry a maximum of one piece of Hand Baggage including laptop or
ladies hand bags, of weight not exceeding 5 kg and not exceeding the following
measurements in size: Length – 34 cms, Width -10 cms, Height - 20 cm.
Hand baggage of excessive weight or size, or of an offensive nature, will not be
permitted on board.
Contours are available at all Airports to check the dimensions. If it exceeds
these specifications due to space in the overhead bin, it shall be removed and
loaded the same baggage in the cargo hold as per safety regulations.
Checked Baggage
Zoom Air allows free Checked Baggage up to 15 kgs per adult and child in Economy
(any Passenger above 2 yrs of age).
At the Airport: Passenger(s) carrying more than the baggage allowance as
mentioned above will be charged at rate of INR 100 per kg (inclusive of service
tax and cess, if applicable) for first 5 kg and INR 250/kg for baggage over and
above 5 kg for domestic travel only.
A flat rate of INR 250 per kg or part thereof per Sector would be charged
towards excess Baggage. Checked Baggage must have the Passenger's name or other
personal identification affixed to it.
Zoom Air does not permit the carriage of a Golf Kit as baggage.
Zoom Air may refuse to carry as baggage any item because of its size, shape,
weight or character, unless advance arrangements for its carriage have been made
with Zoom Air. Zoom Air may refuse to accept baggage as checked baggage unless
it is properly packed in suitcases or other suitable containers to ensure safe
carriage with ordinary care in handling.
