TransNusa
PT TransNusa Aviation Mandiri, operating as TransNusa Aviation Mandiri, usually shortened to TransNusa, is an Indonesian Low-cost carrier airline (formerly a regional airline) serving the east of Indonesia, mainly Nusa Tenggara and southern Sulawesi.

It was launched in August 2005 serving various destinations from Kupang,
Timor, using aircraft chartered from Pelita Air Service and
Trigana Air Service. In
August 2011, TransNusa received its own air operator's certificate (AOC) and
scheduled commercial airline permit.
Its main base is
El Tari Airport, Kupang. Impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic which has
changed passenger's travel habits, the airline temporarily stopped all its
operations by September 2020.

In November 2021, after one-year hiatus from the industry, Transnusa announced through their official Instagram post that the airline planned to make a comeback to the market started with re-branding their business model as Low Cost Carriers (LCC).

The airline used to operated as regional carrier which
focused on routes to eastern part of the country and remote areas. Re-applying
Air Operator Certificate/AOC process has been started along with other
preparations.
It has return serving flights in early February 2022.
