Spring Airlines Japan Unaccompanied Minors Policy
Unaccompanied children are those children between 5 and 12 years of age travelling without a guardian over the age of 18.
To ensure that children entrusted to Spring Airlines are cared for in an
appropriate fashion we would like to draw your attention to the following:
• The fare for an unaccompanied will be charged at 50% of the full adult fare;
• Spring Airlines is unable to provide carriage for unaccompanied children on
international and regional flights;
• Spring Airlines is unable to provide carriage for unaccompanied children under
5 years of age;
• Spring Airlines is unable to provide carriage for unaccompanied children under
the age of 12 who have a visual or hearing impairment;
The number of unaccompanied children on a flight is restricted for security
reasons.
An application must be lodged with Spring Airlines 48 hours prior to the
scheduled departure time and receive approval before any carriage of
unaccompanied children is permitted; The Unaccompanied Children Application Form
must be completed when any such booking is made.
The parent or guardian must accompany the child to the point of departure and
ensure that a suitable adult is at the destination to greet the child upon
arrival.
