Asiana Airlines provides UM (Unaccompanied Minor) services for minors traveling 
alone without a guardian.
 
             Eligibility
International flights: For children between the ages of 5 to 11
Domestic flights: For children between the ages of 5 to 12
Guidance
At the departure city: The staff in charge will accompany the child from the 
check-in counter until aircraft boarding.
Inside the cabin: The flight attendants will care for the child and ensure their 
safe travel.
At the arrival city: The staff in charge will accompany the child until they 
meet with their guardian at the airport.
Fees
Domestic flights : Apply 100% of normal adult fare
International flights : Adult fare + USD100 per service segment or USD10,000 
mileage charge.
As of November 1, 2020 (based on date of issuance), service fee changed to 
USD150.
As of January 1, 2021 (based on boarding date and deduction date), changed to 
payment of 15,000 miles.
If you are allowing your child to fly alone as an 
unaccompanied minor, be sure to take every necessary precaution to ensure his or 
her safety.
