Jeju Air Lost & Found

Passengers who misplace personal belongings during a Jeju Air journey should
report the incident as soon as possible. Lost property procedures differ
depending on whether the item was left onboard the aircraft, inside the airport
terminal, or involved checked baggage.
Items Left on Board the Aircraft
Articles found inside the aircraft after passengers disembark are collected by
the cabin crew and transferred to the airline or its contracted ground handling
company. Items are recorded before being stored for a limited period. Passengers
should contact the Jeju Air station serving the arrival airport or the
designated ground handling office with their flight number, travel date, seat
number and a detailed description of the missing property.
Items Lost at the Airport
Personal belongings misplaced within terminal facilities, including check-in
halls, security checkpoints, departure lounges, restaurants and boarding gates,
are managed by the airport's Lost and Found department rather than Jeju Air.
Each airport maintains its own reporting procedures and storage period.
Delayed or Missing Checked Baggage
Passengers who cannot locate checked baggage after arrival must report the
matter immediately at the baggage service counter before leaving the baggage
reclaim area. A Property Irregularity Report (PIR) is created to begin baggage
tracing through the international baggage tracking system.
Reporting Lost Property
When submitting a report, passengers should provide their baggage tag receipt,
boarding pass, passport or identification, contact details and an accurate
description of the missing item. Photographs, unique markings and brand
information may assist with identification.
Collection of Recovered Items
Recovered belongings are released only after ownership has been verified. Valid
identification and supporting documentation are required before collection.
Delivery by courier may be arranged in certain locations, with transportation
costs payable by the passenger where applicable.
Passenger Advice
Travellers are encouraged to keep passports, wallets, electronic devices,
medications, jewellery and important documents in their cabin baggage. Valuable
items should not be packed inside checked baggage, as compensation for such
articles may be limited under international carriage regulations.
