Jin Air » Baggage Allowance
Passengers travelling with Jin Air are permitted to carry baggage according to
the fare conditions shown on their ticket.
Carry-on Baggage
Each passenger may bring one cabin bag with a maximum weight of 10 kg. The cabin
bag must not exceed 55 cm × 40 cm × 20 cm, including handles and wheels, and
must fit safely inside the overhead storage compartment or beneath the seat in
front.
One additional personal item, including a handbag, laptop bag, camera bag, or
small backpack, may also be carried into the cabin provided it can be placed
under the passenger's seat.
Cabin baggage containing prohibited articles, oversized items, or baggage
exceeding the permitted weight may be transferred to the aircraft hold before
boarding.
Checked Baggage Allowance
Free checked baggage depends on the purchased fare and travel route.
• Domestic promotional fares may not include complimentary checked baggage.
• Domestic and international Saver fares may include 15 kg.
• Standard and Flex fare products may include 15 kg or 20 kg depending on the
route.
• Selected long-haul international services provide up to 23 kg of checked
baggage.
Each checked bag must comply with the airline's maximum size requirement of 203
cm in total linear dimensions. Individual baggage exceeding 32 kg will not be
accepted unless repacked into lighter pieces.
Extra Baggage
Passengers may purchase additional baggage allowance before departure through
Jin Air's website, mobile application, customer service centre, or airport
ticket counter. Advance purchases receive lower charges than excess baggage
purchased on the day of departure.
Oversized sporting equipment, bicycles, golf clubs, diving equipment, skis,
snowboards, and musical instruments are accepted subject to handling
requirements and applicable fees. Certain fragile or valuable articles may
require a limited release declaration or carriage inside the passenger cabin if
size and safety requirements are satisfied.
