Jin Air accepts children travelling alone on selected flights subject to the airline's unaccompanied minor policy. The service is designed to provide supervision from departure until the child is handed over to the authorised receiving adult at the destination.

Eligibility

Children meeting the airline's age requirements may travel using the Unaccompanied Minor (UM) service on eligible Jin Air-operated flights. The service is mandatory for younger children travelling alone within the specified age range established by the airline. Older children may request the service if additional supervision is preferred.

Reservations

Requests for unaccompanied minor travel should be completed before departure through Jin Air Customer Service. Advance reservation enables the airline to confirm eligibility, prepare travel documentation, and coordinate airport assistance.

Airport Procedures

The accompanying parent or guardian must complete the required forms, present valid identification, and remain at the departure airport until the aircraft has departed. The authorised receiving adult must present identification before the child is released upon arrival.

During the Flight

Cabin crew provide supervision throughout the journey, assist with seating, meals where available, boarding, and arrival procedures. Children remain under the care of airline personnel during flight connections only where the itinerary has been approved by the airline.

Travel Restrictions

The service may not be available on itineraries involving long transfer times, overnight connections, interline travel with another airline, or flights affected by operational limitations. Additional restrictions may apply during irregular operations.

Required Documentation

Parents or guardians must provide accurate contact details for both departure and arrival, together with identification documents required by immigration authorities. Compliance with entry regulations remains the responsibility of the accompanying adults arranging the child's journey.
