T'way Air provides an Unaccompanied Minor (UM) service for eligible children travelling without a parent, legal guardian, or designated adult. The service includes supervision by airline personnel from check-in until the child is handed over to the authorised receiving adult at the destination.

T'way Air Unaccompanied Minors Policy

Eligibility

Children meeting the airline's age requirements may travel alone using the Unaccompanied Minor service on eligible T'way Air operated flights. Age eligibility, documentation requirements, and acceptance conditions differ according to domestic or international routes.

Children below the minimum travelling age are not accepted unless accompanied by an eligible adult.

Reservation

Requests for the Unaccompanied Minor service should be made before departure through the T'way Air customer service centre or authorised reservation channels. Availability may be limited because of operational capacity on individual flights.

Parents or guardians must complete all required forms before travel and provide contact information for both the accompanying adult at departure and the authorised person meeting the child upon arrival.

Airport Procedures

The accompanying adult must remain with the child throughout check-in and stay at the airport until the aircraft has departed. Airline staff escort the child through boarding procedures and introduce the passenger to the cabin crew before departure.

Arrival

Upon landing, cabin crew transfer the child to authorised ground staff, who supervise the passenger through arrival procedures before releasing the child only to the nominated adult after identity verification.

Travel Documents

Children travelling internationally must possess valid passports, visas, parental consent documentation where required, and all entry documents required by destination authorities.

The Unaccompanied Minor service is subject to operational restrictions, aircraft type, flight duration, transit arrangements, and applicable government regulations. Passengers should confirm all eligibility requirements before making travel arrangements.
