Golden Myanmar Airlines (ICAO: GMR, IATA: Y5) is an airline in Myanmar currently offering domestic flights. It was established in August 2012 and headquartered in Yangon. It was formed by 15 investors including the chairmen of CB Bank and Myanmar Golden Star. The airline launched operations in January 2013 with one Airbus A320 and planned to add a new aircraft to its fleet every six months. Its main base located at Mandalay International Airport.
