Himalaya Airlines Unaccompanied Minors Policy
Himalaya Airlines’ Unaccompanied Minors (UM) policy ensures the safe travel of children traveling alone.
Children aged 5 to 12 years are eligible for UM service and must be
registered at the time of booking. A special handling request must be made, and
the airline will provide assistance throughout the journey, from check-in to
handover to an authorized guardian at the destination.
For children between 12 and 16 years, UM service is optional but can be
requested by parents or guardians.
Parents or guardians are required to remain at the airport until the flight
departs. It’s essential to notify the airline in advance to arrange the
necessary assistance.
