Business Class: 1 piece up to 10 kg, plus an additional smaller item, same size limit.

Checked Baggage

Economy Class: 1 piece up to 23 kg.

Business Class: 2 pieces, each up to 23 kg.

Excess Baggage

TAROM charges depend on the route and the excess weight or number of bags.

Overweight or Oversized Baggage

Baggage weighing between 23 kg and 32 kg is considered overweight. Passengers will be charged an additional fee ranging from €50 to €100 per piece, depending on the destination.

For oversized baggage (exceeding standard dimensions but within weight limits), a similar fee applies, typically €50 to €100.

Additional Pieces

For each extra piece of checked baggage beyond the standard allowance, fees vary based on the flight route. For instance, flights within Europe might charge €50 to €75 per extra piece, while long-haul flights could cost €100 or more.

Special Baggage

TAROM allows passengers to check sports equipment, such as skis, golf clubs, or bicycles, for an additional fee. These charges range from €30 to €100, depending on the equipment and route.
