Flying Blue

TAROM Flying Blue is the frequent flyer program of TAROM, Romania’s national airline, in partnership with Air France-KLM.

It allows members to earn and redeem miles on TAROM flights as well as on SkyTeam alliance partners.

Earning Miles

Members accumulate miles when flying with TAROM, Air France, KLM, and other SkyTeam airlines. Miles can also be earned through hotel stays, car rentals, and credit card spending with select partners.

Flying Blue offers two types of miles:

► Award Miles – Used for flight redemptions and upgrades.

► XP (Experience Points) – Determine membership status and tier upgrades.

Membership Tiers

Flying Blue has four elite tiers:

► Explorer – Entry-level membership with basic earning benefits.

► Silver – Offers priority check-in and extra baggage allowance.

► Gold – Grants lounge access and SkyTeam Elite Plus benefits.

► Platinum – Provides maximum perks, including priority services and bonus miles.

Redeeming Miles

Miles can be used for:

► Award flights with TAROM and partner airlines.

► Upgrades to Business Class.

► Extra baggage and seat selection.

► Hotel bookings and car rentals.

Additional Benefits

► Periodic Flying Blue promotions allow members to book flights with fewer miles.

► Miles can be extended by earning or redeeming them at least once every two years.
