Policy
Young children traveling without a parent or legal guardian are considered to be
Unaccompanied Minors. Like most airlines, Singapore Airlines provide a service
to assist these children from their point of departure to their final
destination.

The service is mandatory for children ages 5-12 traveling without an
adult. The service is optional for children ages 12-18 traveling without an
adult.
For children 12-18 who do not require service, download and complete the "UM
Assistance and Handling Waiver form" and contact your local Singapore
Airlines office to let them know that you do not require the service for
your child.
Children under 5 years of age are not allowed to travel unless accompanied
by an adult. All airlines reserve the right to request documented proof of
age of any child.
