Thai AirAsia

Thai AirAsia is a joint venture of Malaysian low-fare airline AirAsia and Thailand's Asia Aviation. It serves AirAsia's regularly scheduled domestic and international flights from Bangkok and other cities in Thailand.

Thai AirAsia launched operations on February 2004. Now, the Airlines primary hub is at Don Mueang International Airport. Thai AirAsia was the only low-cost airline operating both domestic and international flights from Suvarnabhumi Airport. The airline transferred all operations from Suvarnabhumi Airport to Don Mueang International Airport effective 1 October 2012.

Thai AirAsia commenced its inaugural commercial flight on 4 February 2004 from Bangkok to Hat Yai. The AirAsia group operates scheduled domestic and international flights to 165 destinations spanning 25 countries with focus in Asia.

The AirAsia Freedom Flyer Programme is the loyalty programme run by BIG Rewards, that was initially designed to reward members for flying with AirAsia. The member can earn points for every flight and redeem the points for free flights and specially selected rewards and preferences.
