If you have lost an item while traveling with Emirates, you can report and track
it through their Lost & Found service.
The process varies depending on where you lost the item:
Lost Items at the Airport
If you misplaced an item at the airport (before check-in, at security, or after
landing), contact the Lost & Found office of the respective airport.
Emirates does not handle items lost in airport terminals, baggage claim areas,
or security checkpoints.
Lost Items Onboard an Emirates Flight
If you lost an item onboard an Emirates aircraft, it will be handed over to the
Lost & Found department at your destination airport.
You can contact Emirates customer service or the Lost & Found office at your
arrival airport to check for your item.
Lost Checked Baggage (Delayed, Damaged, or Missing)
If your checked baggage is missing, report it immediately upon arrival at the
Emirates Baggage Services Desk in the airport.
You will receive a Property Irregularity Report (PIR) with a reference number to
track your baggage.
Emirates uses the WorldTracer system to help locate lost baggage.
If the baggage is not found within 21 days, it may be considered lost, and you
could be eligible for compensation.
How to Report a Lost Item or Baggage Issue
