Loganair Baggage Policy
Passengers travelling with Loganair are welcome to bring:

Carry-on Baggage
• Fly Flex + passengers can carry 1 bag up to 6kg free of charge plus a small
handbag and slim line laptop bag.
• Fly and Fly Flex passengers can carry 1 bag up to 6kg free of charge plus a
small handbag.
General Information
In addition to the checked luggage allowance, you may carry personal items as
cabin luggage. The cabin luggage must be labeled at check-in, weigh under 6
kilos, and not exceed dimensions of 40cm x 35cm x 18cm i.e. to fit in an
overhead bin or under your seat. On certain flights it may be necessary to put
cabin luggage in the hold, and it will be returned to you at the bottom of the
steps on arrival.
Loganair recommends passengers include important documents, cash, valuables,
medication and laptops in their cabin luggage. Loganair recommends passengers do
not carry items which are considered a security risk in their cabin luggage, for
Loganair cannot accept liability for items removed by airport security staff.
Checked Baggage Allowance
Your checked luggage allowance is dependent on the fare category you purchase
for your itinerary.
• Fly customers can carry up to 15kg hold luggage across multiple bags
• Fly Flex customers can carry up to 23kg across multiple bags
• Fly Flex + customers can carry up to 30kg across multiple bags and up to 25kg
in a single bag
Note: Single article limit – the maximum weight per bag, regardless of fare or
excess luggage paid for, must not exceed 25kg.
Excess Baggage
If you have luggage in excess of your free allowance, and one additional piece
of luggage up to 15kgs may be booked for £20 via Manage My Booking.
Due to aircraft constraints, additional luggage cannot be prebooked for
flights to/from Barra, Campbeltown, Tiree or within the Orkney Isles.
General Information – Excess Baggage
Payment for excess luggage can be made by credit card. If you are planning to
travel with excess luggage Loganair suggests you check in at least 20 minutes
earlier than the recommended check-in time.
Excess luggage will only be carried subject to space being available. If your
excess luggage travels unaccompanied on another flight, you are responsible for
collecting this upon its arrival at the final destination.
Important Note: Passenger cabin bags and hold luggage must not contain any
articles or substances that may present a danger during transport.
