Loganair Unaccompanied Minors Policy
Loganair no longer allows children (under 12 years old) to travel unaccompanied, due to child welfare issues.

If a child aged between 12 and 15 is travelling on their own, please be aware
that they will be booked as an adult, and therefore will be making their way
through departure and arrival airports and boarding their flight(s) without a
chaperone.
Loganair cannot accept responsibility for the young person. The parent/guardian
should ensure that the young person carries with them at all times the necessary
documentation and has the ability to communicate with their parent/guardian
and/or the person collecting them at the destination. Loganair recommend that
the parent or guardian accompanying children to the airport waits until their
flight departs before leaving the terminal.
If you are allowing your child to fly alone as an unaccompanied minor, be sure
to take every necessary precaution to ensure his or her safety.
A youth 12-15 pays the adult fare and the booking should be made via Loganair’s
call centre.
If you require further information on unaccompanied minor policy, please contact Loganair Call Centre
at 0344 800 2855 or +44 141 642 9407 if calling from overseas.
