TUI Airways Unaccompanied Minors Policy

If you are allowing your child to fly alone as an unaccompanied minor, be sure to take every necessary precaution to ensure his or her safety.

Package Holidays

Passengers need to be at least 18 years old to be able to go on a package holiday independently.

Flight Only Bookings

Children under 14 years old who are travelling on a TUI flight-only booking must be accompanied by another passenger aged 16 or over, who is travelling on the same booking reference.

Children aged 14 or 15 can travel alone, as long as they don't need assistance. That said, TUI recommend that they be accompanied to the check-in desk by a parent or legal guardian. TUI would also advise that the parent or guardian stays at the airport until the flight has departed.

To book a flight seat for someone between the ages of 14 and 17, a parent or legal guardian over the age of 18 would need to call TUI on 0203 451 2688.

For further information on unaccompanied minors policy, please contact TUI Airways Call Centre at +44 20 3451 2688 for further assistance. Calls from UK landlines cost the standard rate, but calls from mobiles may be higher. Please check with your network provider.
