Air Sunshine Children Flying Alone Policy
There are no Department of Transportation regulations concerning travel by “unaccompanied minors,” but every airlines have their specific procedures to protect the well-being of youngsters flying by themselves.

Air Sunshine recommend that minors be accompanied during the entire travel by
an adult if possible. Minimum age for traveling unaccompanied for a minor is
seven years for domestic travel and 12 years for international travel.
Please call 1-800-327-8900 or 954-434-8900 to confirm the minor’s itinerary the
day before departure and indicate whether Meet and Greet service or any other
special assistance is needed.
The Child must be dropped off by a parent /guardian at Air Sunshine ticket
counter and be supervised up until boarding time, special forms will be provided
and must be filled out providing Air Sunshine name of the person picking up the
child and the contact information of that person. Government Issued
Identification cards are required from persons dropping off and picking up the
child.
According to Air Sunshine policy a minor is any person under the age of 18 and
although they may travel unaccompanied between the ages of 12 and 18 however
they are not considered adults and may not accompany and be in charge of
children under 12 for international travel or 7 for domestic travel.
