Frontier Airlines Children Flying Alone Policy
Beginning November 1, 2018, Frontier Airlines Children Flying Alone Policy stated that children who are younger than 15 years old must travel with another passenger who is at least 15 years old.

Bookings for unaccompanied minor travel that were made prior to November 1,
2018 will be honored. If your child is traveling alone, rest assured that they
are in good hands. Here’s everything you need to know about getting young
travelers from departure to arrival smoothly.
For bookings made before November 1, 2018, children ages 5-14 who plan to travel
without someone at least 15 years of age or older are considered unaccompanied
minors and need to be accompanied on our flights with Frontier Airlines
unaccompanied minor service.
Frontier Airlines do not accept unaccompanied minors less than 5 years old.
Unaccompanied minors whose flights were booked before November 1, 2018 may
travel on any Frontier nonstop flight, excluding international flights.
Unaccompanied minors cannot be booked at any time on connecting itineraries or
on flights that make a stop enroute.
The Unaccompanied Minor service fee is $110 one-way.
The service fee includes gate access for guardians at drop-off; a lanyard with a
card indicating the child’s destination; hand-off from gate agent to flight
attendant; an in-flight beverage and snack; gate agent oversight of the
unaccompanied minor for as long as the child is not picked up at the gate on
time by the guardian; and a gate issuance pass for guardians at pick-up.
A guardian may obtain a boarding pass (included in service fee) from the ticket
counter to pass through security and accompany their child to the gate. One
family member will also receive a boarding pass to bypass security at the
child’s final destination.
