Passengers traveling with Hawaiian Airlines can Check-in conveniently with the check-in options provided as below:

Kiosk Check-In

Hawaiian Airlines’ check-in kiosks are available in the departure lobbies of most airports we serve. When you skip the lines at the counters and check yourself in, you can:

• Check-in for any Hawaiian Airlines or ‘Ohana by Hawaiian flight
• View available seat assignments if necessary
• Change or upgrade your seat, if available
• Print tags for your check-in luggage

Airport Check-in Timing

Check-in opens online 24 hours before departure. To simplify your travel day, Hawaiian Airlines recommend checking in online as early as possible. If you have bags to check, you may print your bag tags and boarding pass at the airport.

For all flights, online check-in closes 1 hour prior to departure. Please note that Hawaiian Airlines are unable to accept checked bags more than 4 hours prior to departure.

North America to and from Hawaii

If you are traveling between North America and Hawaii, please refer to the check-in steps below:

Check-in	Check in online 24 hours before departure.
Arrive	Arrive in the check-in lobby 2 hours and 30 minutes prior to departure.
Print	Print your bag tags and boarding pass at any Hawaiian Airlines kiosk. You will need your six-letter confirmation code or HawaiianMiles number.
Drop	Drop your bags off. On flights departing Hawaii, bags will be inspected for agricultural products.
Cut-off	All of the above must be completed no later than 45 minutes prior to departure. Online check-in closes 1 hour prior to departure.

Neighbor Island Flights

If you are traveling within Hawaii, please refer to the check-in steps below:

Check-in	Check in online 24 hours before departure.
Arrive	Arrive in the check-in lobby 1 hour and 30 minutes prior to departure.
Print	Print your bag tags and boarding pass at any Hawaiian Airlines kiosk. You will need your six-letter confirmation code or HawaiianMiles number.
Drop	Drop your bags off.
Cut-off	All of the above must be completed no later than 30 minutes prior to departure. Online check-in closes 1 hour prior to departure.

International Flights

If you are traveling on an International flight, please refer to the check-in steps below:

Check-in	Check in online 24 hours before departure.
Arrive	Arrive in the check-in lobby 3 hours prior to departure.
Print	Print your bag tags and boarding pass at any Hawaiian Airlines kiosk. You will need your six-letter confirmation code or HawaiianMiles number.
Drop	Drop your bags off.
Cut-off	All of the above must be completed no later than 1 hour prior to departure.

Getting to the Gate

Once you've checked in, it's important to get to the gate area 30 minutes prior to departure. Guests who arrive after that time may be denied boarding and ticketed on a later flight.
