Passengers traveling with JetBlue Airways can Check-in conveniently with the check-in options provided as below:

Online / Mobile Check-In

You can check in for your JetBlue flight up to 24 hours before departure on jetblue.com, on the JetBlue mobile app. After successful check-in, your boarding pass will be send directly to your mobile phone (or print online from the website).

Airport Counter Check-In

You can check in for your JetBlue flight from 20 minutes up to 6 hours before the scheduled departure time.

Airport Self-service Check-in Kiosks

The Self-service Check-in Kiosks are available in 20+ airports around USA to make it easy to check yourself in as well as the other travelers on your reservation with just a few clicks or taps. By using Self-service Check-in Kiosks, You can also print your boarding pass and bag tags on the spot, whether you previously checked in or not.

You can also add bags and pets, change seats, purchase Even More Space seats or Even More Speed, and even add your TrueBlue or Known Traveler numbers if you didn’t add them when you booked your trip.

Check in Timings

Check in times vary at each airport. Please check your specific airport for the required check in time and the ticket counter hours.

Avoid delays by checking for traffic alerts, and allow enough time to go through TSA screening, particularly during holidays and peak travel days. Please note, JetBlue has cut-off times for baggage check-in, and also for check in at the departure gate; JetBlue will not be responsible for expenses incurred due to late check in.

JetBlue are not able to check you in more than 6 hours prior to your scheduled departure time.

Cut-off Time for Boarding a Domestic Flight

Each customer must be on board the aircraft 15 minutes prior to departure.

Any customer not on board, even if they have checked in and received a boarding pass, may be denied boarding and will not be entitled to denied boarding compensation.

Check-in Requirements for International Travel

A valid passport is required for ALL customers (regardless of age) who are traveling to/from the United States and any country in the Western Hemisphere. World Passports are not accepted for travel on any JetBlue flight.

Ensure that your passport is valid through the dates of your trip. Also note that some countries require passports to be valid for at least six months upon entry. Be sure to check the country-specific requirements prior to travel.

Please note: If the name on your travel documents does not match the name on the reservation, you may be required to show additional documents such as a notarized marriage certificate.

All customers must be checked in for their flight at least 60 minutes prior to scheduled departure and must be onboard 15 minutes prior to scheduled departure.

Online Booking Time Limit & International Check In

Please be advised that the ticketing time limit for online bookings is 20 minutes from the time the reservation was started. Additionally, if you are booking an international flight, you must do so 90 minutes prior to departure. In the rare event that you are able to complete your booking within the 90-minute time limit, it will still be your responsibility to make it to the airport ticket counter at least 60 minutes prior to departure for check-in.

If you are traveling to an International destination, please check in at the ticket counter. We will not be liable for any charges incurred for baggage that was checked late, nor will we be liable for delivery or compensation for late checked baggage.
