Wright Air Service Children Flying Alone Policy
Wright Air Service, Inc. will not accept unaccompanied children less than seven (7) years of age. Children under the age of seven (7) need to be accompanied by an adult traveling to and from the same from the same airports as the child.
For children 8-11 years old, an adult escort is recommended by not mandatory;
however, approval for unaccompanied travel is subject to Customer Service
Representative and the pilot for that flight.
The parent or responsible adult who brings an unaccompanied child to the
departure airport will be required to remain at the departure gate until the
flight is airborne. The person meeting the child at his or her destination will
need to be in the arrivals area prior to the flight arriving. Awaiting guardians
may be required to present positive identification and sign the “Unaccompanied
Minor Form.”
A child under two (2) years of age, not occupying a seat, may be carried without
charge when accompanied by a fare-paying passenger eighteen (18) years of age or
older. Safety seats for children without a confirmed reservation may have to be
transported as checked baggage if unoccupied seats are not available. A child’s
fare discount is available on any scheduled Y Fare flight for children between
the ages of two (2) and eleven (11) years old.
