Uzbekistan Airways provides an Unaccompanied Minor (UM) service for children travelling without a parent or legal guardian. The service ensures that eligible children receive supervision from airline personnel throughout their journey until they are handed over to the authorised person at the destination.

Children between 5 and 16 years of age travelling alone may use the Unaccompanied Minor service. The service is compulsory for younger children travelling without an accompanying adult and may also be requested for older children within the eligible age range.

Reservations for unaccompanied minors must be arranged before departure, as the number of children accepted on each flight is limited. Parents or guardians are required to provide complete contact information for the adults responsible for delivering and collecting the child at both departure and arrival points.

The accompanying adult must remain at the departure airport until the aircraft has departed. At the destination, the receiving adult must present valid identification before the child is released by airline staff.

Children travelling under the Unaccompanied Minor service receive assistance with check-in, security procedures where permitted, boarding, in-flight supervision, transfer connections on eligible itineraries and arrival formalities.

Parents or guardians must prepare all required travel documents, including passports, visas, medical documents and any official consent forms required by the destination or transit countries. Compliance with immigration regulations remains the responsibility of the passenger and accompanying adults.

The Unaccompanied Minor service may not be available on every route or itinerary involving extended transfer times, overnight connections or partner airlines. Service availability, applicable charges and travel conditions are determined at the time of booking in accordance with Uzbekistan Airways operational requirements and safety procedures.
