Passengers traveling with Vietnam Airlines can Check-in conveniently with the check-in options provided as below:

Vietnam Airlines Check-in Information

Online Web / Mobile App Check-in

Web / Mobile App Check-in is available 24 to 1 hour before flight departure.

Please note that online check-in is applicable for passengers who have confirmed booking and valid e-tickets on flights operated by Vietnam Airlines. If passengers travel on flights operated by OTHER AIRLINES; or on code-share flights between Vietnam Airlines and other airlines and these flights are operated by other airlines, please contact to operated airlines to process check-in or come to departure airport to complete check-in.

Airport Counter Check-in

Check-in counter opens and closes following the below timing.

Important notes:

• If flight schedule is changed, check-in time will be adjusted accordingly.

• Check-in timing also depends on each different individual airport and carrier.

• Passengers need to arrive at the airport early to have enough time for check-in, security check, and immigration procedures.

• Depending on your fare conditions, a failure to check-in on time may also result in:

• Making your ticket invalid for travel or becoming non-refund in case there are restrictions on changes. You will need to make a new booking and purchase a new ticket.

• Paying change fee, and/or fares difference for the new applicable fare.

• Due to potential traffic delays, check-in time and security screening, passengers are recommended to be at the airport at least 120 minutes before departure of domestic flights and 180 minutes before departure of international flights. The handing of stand by passengers bases on the method “first comes, first serve” in each priority level.

Kiosk Check-In

Kiosk check-in is now available at Noi Bai International Airport, Tan Son Nhat International Airport, Cam Ranh International Airport and Da Nang International Airport in Vietnam.

With Kiosk check-in, passengers are able to select seat, check in and print boarding pass from 24 hours to 45 minutes before estimated departure time of domestic flights and 60 minutes before estimated departure time of international flights.

Passengers without check-in baggage travelling from airports in Vietnam are allowed to proceed directly to the security/immigration area and no need to line up at the check-in counter.

Closing Time of Boarding Gate

Boarding gate closes 15 minutes before scheduled time of departure. Late passengers may not be accepted for travel.
