El Tari International Airport
El Tari International Airport

El Tari International Airport (Indonesian: Bandar Udara Internasional El Tari) (IATA: KOE, ICAO: WATT) is located in Kupang, East Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia. Named in honor of El Tari, the Governor of East Nusa Tenggara from 1966 to 1978, the airport’s ICAO code was updated from WRKK to WATT in 2004.

The airport previously operated international flights to Dili and Darwin, but these were suspended in the 1990s due to alleged human rights violations by the Indonesian Armed Forces in East Timor. Plans are underway to resume the Kupang-Dili route, which will be operated by Lion Air.

The airport provides secure short-term and long-term parking options, with a multi-storey car park that can accommodate up to 730 vehicles.

The airport is managed by PT Angkasa Pura I.
