Bua Airport

Bua Airport, also known as Palopo Lagaligo Airport (IATA: LLO, ICAO: WAFD),
is located in Luwu Regency, South Sulawesi, Indonesia. Serving the city of
Palopo, which is situated 10 km from the airport, it covers an area of about 100
hectares. In 2015, the airport's facilities were upgraded to accommodate larger
aircraft.
Terminal Facilities
The modern terminal, recently inaugurated, provides a comfortable environment
for passengers. The airport is managed by UPT Ditjen Hubud, an agency under the
Ministry of Transportation, Indonesia.
Public Transportation
Taxi: Various taxi and car rental services are available from numerous providers
outside the arrival hall.
Car Park: Ample parking space is available within walking distance of the
terminal.
Technical Specifications
The airport is located at an elevation of 4 meters (13 ft) above sea level. It
has a single runway, designated 17/35, with an asphalt surface measuring 1,400
meters by 30 meters (4,593 ft × 98 ft).
The airport is also equipped with a taxiway that is 191 meters long and 18
meters wide, and an apron that is 80 meters long and 60 meters wide. Runway
lights have been installed to facilitate night landings, and a perimeter fence
has been added to prevent animals from entering the airport grounds.
