Depati Amir Airport
Depati Amir Airport (Indonesian: Bandar Udara Depati Amir) (IATA: PGK, ICAO:
WIPK, formerly WIKK), also known as Pangkal Pinang Airport, serves Pangkal
Pinang, the largest town on Bangka Island and the capital of the Bangka-Belitung
province in Indonesia.
The airport is located approximately 5 km from the city center and is one of the
two main airports in the Bangka-Belitung province, alongside H.A.S.
Hanandjoeddin International Airport in Tanjung Pandan, Belitung.
Terminal Facilities
The modern terminal, inaugurated on 11 January 2017, significantly enhances
passenger comfort and experience. With an increase in passenger capacity from
350 thousand to over 1.5 million per year, the new terminal spans an area of 12
thousand square meters within a total land area of approximately 152 hectares.
It boasts modern design elements and additional amenities such as food courts,
executive break rooms, internet facilities, disabled-accessible toilets, and
mother and child rooms. Terminal facilities also include 12 check-in counters, 3
departure gates, and 2 jetbridges.
The airport's operations are managed by UPT Ditjen Hubud, an agency under the
Ministry of Transportation, Indonesia.
Public Transportation
Various taxi, minivan taxi, and car rental services are available from multiple
providers outside the arrival hall.
The new parking facilities can accommodate up to 300 cars and 120 motorcycles.

Depati Amir Airport is situated at an elevation of 33 meters (109 ft) above mean
sea level. It features one runway designated 16/34, with an asphalt surface
measuring 2,600 meters (8,530 ft) in length.
