Lasikin Airport
Simeulue Lasikin Airport (ICAO: WITG) is situated in Sinabang, Simeulue
Island, Aceh, Indonesia. Following its devastation by the 2004 tsunami and the
2005 Nias–Simeulue earthquake, the airport underwent reconstruction and reopened
on 1 November 2007. The revitalization efforts, funded by the Aceh-Nias recovery
agency at a cost of 45 billion rupiah, included the installation of a control
tower and the expansion of the runway to accommodate larger turboprop aircraft
such as the Fokker 50.
Terminal Facilities
As a small airport, it provides all essential facilities for passenger
convenience.
The airport's operations fall under the management of UPT Ditjen Hubud, an
agency under the Ministry of Transportation, Indonesia.
Public Transportation
Outside the arrival hall, travelers have access to various taxi services,
including minivans and car rentals.
Car Park: Adequate parking space is available within walking distance of the
terminal.

Situated at an elevation of 4 meters (12 ft) above mean sea level, the airport
features one runway designated 07/25, boasting an asphalt surface spanning 1,400
meters (4,593 ft) in length.
